1Under S.No. 03, in addition to performing Post Mortem of Laboratory animals, handling of Laboratory animals must also be added.
2Egg Inoculation, Virus Titration & Virus Neutralisation tests have been included in the syllabus but none of the Medical Colleges have the facilities for performing and training students in these at present.
3Neither will it be possible to develop these without a full fledged Virology establishment.
4In the circumstances it is suggested that this essential training be given through collaboration with some sister institution having the facilities.
5Mycology: The number of fungal isolates which the students need to identify may be clearly mentioned. (Optimum 06 per student)
6Parasitology: Histopathology & other slides to examine the skills in Parasitology may be included. A set of 06 slides per student should be given.
